Let there be rock: AC/DC includes Edmonton in 2026 tour leg

More than 10 years after the last time they played Edmonton, AC/DC will return to play Commonwealth Stadium.

Thunder will strike in Edmonton next year when AC/DC takes the stage in Commonwealth Stadium.

The Australian rock band kicked off its Power Up Tour, named after its 17th studio album in 2020, in Europe in 2024.

During a 2025 American leg, the tour consisted of only one Canadian stop in Vancouver.

That will change in the third year of the tour, for which 21 concert dates were announced on Monday.

The band will take Commonwealth’s stage on Aug. 9, 2026.

The other Canadian dates are in Vancouver, Montreal and Toronto.

Tickets go on sale on Friday.
