Whyte Avenue’s Station Park is losing a major tenant. Epic Market, a food hall operating five restaurant concepts and two bars across two floors of the retail complex, announced it will be seeking a new home after nearly two years. “Unfortunately, and with a touch of surprise, we can no longer operate on Whyte Avenue,” said a statement from Epic. “Operating that corner was, unfortunately, a Herculean task without parking or foot traffic.” The food hall opened in August 2024 and featured a variety of cuisines, including Italian, Asian fusion, cocktails and beer. Epic said it is working to find a new venue for any pre-existing events. Located on the intersection of Whyte Avenue and Gateway Boulevard, Beljan Development’s Station Park offers micro retail units and a spot for a food hall, quoted as being “the anchor of the site.”
