WESTMOUNT, N.S. -- Police in Cape Breton are investigating after shots were fired at the front door of a home in Westmount.
Police say officers were called to the home on Fulton Avenue around 3 a.m. Wednesday after residents reported hearing a loud noise at the front door.
They say the door was significantly damaged and it was caused by a firearm.
Four people were inside the residence at the time, but police say no one was injured.
Police are searching for suspects and they believe this is an isolated incident.
