Police looking for a man they believe was involved in the Surrey, B.C. death of 23-year-old mother Cady Quaw, have issued a Canada-wide warrant seeking the public’s help in the search.

In a press release, Surrey police say Gordon David, 34, is a suspect in a "domestic related homicide." He is wanted on a warrant for manslaughter and aggravated assault.

Quaw was found severely injured in her Surrey home on Sunday. She was taken to hospital, but died later the same day.

Police say David, who also goes by the name Alex David, is believed to have caused Quaw’s injuries. They also allege he assaulted a second woman in the house on Sunday. Officers will not release the second woman’s identity, and say no children were in the residence at the time.

David is Quaw’s estranged spouse, and was on bail at the time he allegedly killed his wife. He was supposed to appear in a Surrey, B.C., court on Monday on charges he ignored a court order to stay away from Quaw earlier this year.

B.C.'s Integrated Homicide Investigation Team is asking the public to call the police if they have any information about David’s current whereabouts.

On Monday, Sgt. Stephanie Ashton also advised caution for anybody who spots Gordon, and said he should be considered armed and dangerous.

"IHIT is advising the public that the location of Mr. David is unknown at this time," police said in a statement. "If you know the whereabouts of Mr. David, do not approach him, immediately call 9-1-1 and advise the police."

David is described as 5'6" tall, and weighing 161 lbs. He has a slim build, black hair, brown eyes, and a skulls tattoo on his right forearm.
