Calgary emergency crews were on the scene of a semi-truck rollover on Stoney Trail early Saturday morning. A news alert says the crash happened on the ramp from Stoney Trail to southbound Metis Trail. The area was closed between Stoney Trail and 128 Avenue N.E. Both off ramps from Stoney Trail to Metis Trail were also closed. Police estimated they would be at the site for “several hours” as of 4:30 a.m. As of around 8 a.m. Saturday, the truck appeared to be upright and ready to be towed. It was damaged on its driver’s side. YYC Transportation had not said whether the area was cleared. This is a developing story.
