Parks Canada issues cougar warning for Waterton Village

Parks Canada has issued a cougar warning for the Waterton Lakes National Park townsite, also known as Waterton Village, after a cougar killed wildlife in the area.

The cougar warning was issued on Friday, Sept. 12 and will be in place until further notice.

Parks Canada cautions visitors to keep children close, travel in groups, consider carrying bear spray, remain alert at all times and keep pets on a leash.
