An industrial fire in northeast Calgary sent one person to hospital on Wednesday. Fire crews responded to the 100 block of Freeport Crescent N.E. around 5:15 p.m. where they found heavy smoke coming from a commercial warehouse. Crews ran a hose inside to put the fire out. The investigation into the blaze is focused on a commercial oven, which was in flames when firefighters arrived. The Calgary Fire Department says four employees were assessed for injuries and one was taken to the hospital.
