Nominations open to recognize people on World Gratitude Day

Nominations are open in Lethbridge to pay tribute to someone who as part of a "Gratitude in Play' campaign.

With World Gratitude Day approaching, the City of Lethbridge is relaunching a campaign to thank those who help make sports and recreation better.

Residents can nominate someone who shows great effort, kindness and leadership in local sports or recreation as part of the ‘Gratitude in Play’ campaign.

The city says coaches, volunteers, teammates, staff members or supports are eligible to be nominated.

Nominations can be made on the city’s website until Sept. 18.
