Health Canada says some Albertans were shorted on their pot purchases. In an online advisory, the agency says Hybrid Infusion Ltd. initiated a recall of one of its cannabis products because of improper labelling and packaging. The company says containers of its Champagne Supernova pre-rolls were distributed with less than the amount of product than what was expected according to the label. “The affected product is packaged in the wrong tube. The tube contains one 1-g pre-roll instead of three 0.5-g pre-rolls,” Health Canada said in the recall notice. The affected products have a lot number of CS0002 and a packaging date of May 1. Health Canada says between May 13 and 26, 864 units were sold through authorized retailers in Alberta. “To date, Hybrid Infusion Ltd. has received two complaints and no adverse reaction report about the recalled lot,” Health Canada said. The agency advises anyone who purchased these products to check if they have the affected items and contact the store where they bought them if they wish to return them. Any other health and safety concerns should be reported through the online cannabis reporting form.
