Fortinet opened a cybersecurity hub in downtown Calgary on Wednesday. The company says protecting Alberta’s core industries from cyberattacks has never been more urgent. The new $30 million hub features a customer briefing centre and training facility. Following the opening of the Calgary hub, Fortinet is hosting a cybersecurity conference Thursday at Telus Convention Centre, from 8 a.m. to 6 pm. Calgary will become Fortinet’s third major Canadian cybersecurity innovation hub, joining major campuses in Burnaby, B.C., and Ottawa.
