Expect more winter and more shoveling this weekend

Saturday will be cool and cloudy, with a few flurries.

There is the potential for a few flurries throughout the weekend, but the significant snowfall should be late Sunday to early Monday.

Models aren’t in agreement on snowfall amounts, with some suggesting three to seven centimetres of snow late Sunday to Monday morning, while others are suggesting 15 centimetres in parts of Calgary.

For areas west of Calgary, there’s 30 centimetres or more expected.

Things will start to clear out Monday afternoon, then a longer-term warm stretch will begin on Tuesday.
