A motorcyclist is dead after a collision with a school bus in Medicine Hat last week. Police in the southeast Alberta city say the incident occurred on Oct. 14. Around 3:44 p.m., police say emergency crews were called to Fourth Avenue and Second Street S.E. downtown. The motorcycle and school bus collided in the intersection. Police say the motorcyclist—a 37-year-old man—sustained serious injuries and died in hospital. No one aboard the bus was injured, police say. Investigation into the incident continues, but police don’t believe impairment or excessive speed were factors.
