The temperatures will get a little hotter each day this week — until Sunday. Calgary will be mainly sunny with a high of 31 C on Friday. We will be moderate on the Air Quality Health Index. Temperatures will peak on Saturday with a high of 33 C. The weather pattern will completely change on Sunday, as the jetstream will slump south towards us, bringing in a significantly cooler airmass and the chance of unstable conditions. The daytime high will drop 10 degrees to 23 C, and this comes with a decent chance of showers and the risk of thunderstorms. The holiday Monday is expected to be similar.
