Calgary can expect a cooler weekend with some unsettled weather. Much of Saturday will be nice, but some clouds are expected to creep in during the afternoon. Winds are expected to pick up and after 5 p.m. there’s a chance of showers and a risk of thunderstorms. Sunday will be significantly cooler. The day comes with mainly cloudy skies, and a risk of thunderstorms after 5 p.m. once again. The rain will become more consistent and heavy at times overnight, but the rain should clear out by Monday morning for the walk to the first day of school.
