Provincial officials say a black bear was euthanized in central Alberta last week. Alberta Fish and Wildlife Enforcement Services says the bear was habituated, and was repeatedly seen in the summer village of Burnstick Lake It was killed near the village on May 6, officials said. The area is located about 150 kilometres northwest of Calgary. In a statement, Fish and Wildlife said the incident remains under investigation and “no additional information is available at this time.”
