Arson unit investigating suspicious N.W. Calgary house fire: police

Calgary police are investigating a suspicious house fire in the northwest community of Scenic Acres on Tuesday morning.

Emergency crews responded to the 100 block of Scenic Way N.W. around 11:35 a.m. for reports of a fire.

Police said the arson unit is investigating.

Images from the scene showed some damage to the siding near the gas meter on the outside of the home.

Anyone with information about this fire is asked to call Calgary police at 403-266-1234. Tips can also be submitted anonymously.
