Airdrie’s Scott Puttick is $100,000 richer after an EXTRA draw this past April. His numbers—3287282—came up on April 18. Puttick says he found out about the win while he and his wife were at the grocery store and he told her when they got back to the car. “I made sure she had the car in park first,” he said in a release issued Monday by the Western Canada Lottery Corporation (WCLC). Puttick says it “doesn’t feel real,” but he and his wife have very real plans for the money already. “I’m going to pay off the mortgage,” he said. “And my wife can officially retire now.” The WCLC said Puttick’s winning Lotto6-49and EXTRA ticket was purchased at the Sobeys at 100-65 MacKenzie Way S.W. in Airdrie.
