Calgary police say three people are facing charges after a “significant amount” of drugs was seized during a trafficking operation. During the course of the investigation, which began in June, police say officers identified multiple suspects and two homes believed to be connected to drug trafficking. The two homes, one in the 200 block of Riverstone Place S.E. and the other in the 2800 block of First Street N.W., were searched on Sept. 29. During the search, the following items were seized: Two people were taken into custody during the searches, as well as a third during a traffic stop. All three face drugs and weapons-related charges.
