Part of northbound Deerfoot Trail was closed early Saturday morning in connection with a collision that left three people injured. At 12:15 a.m., police responded to the intersection of 17 Avenue S.E. for reports of a semi-truck rollover. That was followed by a second vehicle that rolled over, leaving three people injured. EMS transported all three to hospital with life-altering injuries. Northbound Deerfoot Trail at Piegan Trail is closed to all vehicle traffic.
