2 people dead after incident in Calgary’s Redstone

Police found one person dead Wednesday when they were called to a Redstone home. A second person died later, and police say it's suspicious.

Calgary police are looking for information after an incident in the northeast community of Redstone that left two people dead.

Police were called to a disturbance at a home on Redstone Park N.E. at approximately 12:40 a.m.

When they arrived, they found two people suffering from severe injuries.

“Despite life-saving measures, one person succumbed to their injuries on scene, and another was later declared deceased at the hospital,” police said in a news release Wednesday.

The investigation is ongoing.

The relationship between the victims has not been released.

There is no risk to the public, police said.

Autopsies are scheduled for Thursday.

“Further information will be made available following the completion of the autopsies for the two involved adults,” police said.

“At this time, we are not looking for any suspects.”
