Sumo Fest

• What: Japanese culture and tradition will take centre stage as Calgary hosts Sumo Fest 2026. The event includes a Japanese-inspired market hall offering food, drinks, local vendors and cultural exhibitions, as well as live sumo wrestling bouts featuring internationally recognized sumo athletes.

2026 World Women’s Curling Championship

• What: The world’s top women’s curling teams compete in Calgary at the 2026 World Women’s Curling Championship.

• What: The Calgary Wranglers take on the Manitoba Moose twice this weekend in WHL action at the ‘Dome.

Penguin walk
