A motorcyclist is dead following a vehicle collision in northwest Calgary. Friday’s crash happened shortly before 4 p.m. at the intersection of 12th Avenue and Centre Street. It involved the motorcycle and another vehicle. Police say the motorcyclist was taken to hospital in critical condition and was pronounced dead after he got there. In the aftermath of the crash, 12th Avenue was closed at Centre Street in both directions.
