CALGARY — Crude oil pipeline operator South Bow Corp. has reported third-quarter net income of US$99 million, up from US$93 million a year earlier. The profit amounted to 47 cents US per share versus 45 cents US per share during the same 2025 quarter. Revenue edged up to US$503 million from US$461 million year-over-year. South Bow says it and its U.S. partner Bridger Pipeline LLC expect to make a final investment decision in mid-2027 on a new cross-border pipeline system that would use some of the dormant infrastructure of the defunct Keystone XL project. South Bow says it expects its share of the pre-development costs for that project to be US$65 million this year, with another US$65 million next year. The Calgary-based company, which spun off from TC Energy Corp. in late 2024, says it will consider speeding up spending as “greater regulatory certainty and permit durability are achieved.” This report by The Canadian Press was first published Nov. 4, 2026.
