Most stores, banks and beer stores will be closed on Thursday, Jan. 1.

• All Shoppers Drug Mart stores in Barrie, except Georgian Mall and Allandale
• All Beer Stores

Retail

• Georgian Mall in Barrie
• Tanger Outlets Cookstown
• Orillia Square Mall

Waste Collection

• Thursday’s waste collection will be collected on Friday.
• Simcoe County Waste Drop-off Facilities

Transit

• Barrie Transit
• Most LINX Transit services are not operating on Jan. 1 with the exception of Route 4, which will be operating on a Sunday schedule.
