Police hope to identify two suspects accused of forcing their way into a business in Adjala-Tosorontio over the weekend and leaving with about $12,000 worth of tools. OPP says a pickup truck with a stolen licence plate pulled up to the Alliston Home Hardware Building Centre on Concession Road 7 Sunday just before 7 a.m. and stopped outside the contractor door. Police say one suspect got out of the truck and broke the front door glass of the building to gain entry. Both suspects then reportedly removed several boxes of tools and loaded them into the truck before leaving the scene just 11 minutes later. Provincial police say the suspects had their faces covered, and described one as being tall with a medium build, wearing dark clothing, gloves, and a hoodie. The second is described as shorter, also with a medium build, wearing lighter clothing, including a John Deere logo sweater, gloves, and a ball cap. The truck is described as a dark, newer GMC with the licence plate CD49729. The investigation is ongoing with police asking residents and businesses in the area to review surveillance footage on Sun., Oct. 19 between 6:50 a.m. and 7:30 a.m. for any suspicious activity and contact the Nottawasaga OPP with any information that might help with the case.
