Provincial police are continuing to investigate a crash in Springwater Township this past week that reportedly involved one of the drivers fleeing the scene. According to Huronia West OPP, officers responded to a two-crash at around 7 p.m. Thursday evening in Phelpston on Flos Road Four between Leo Marley Way and Buckley Street. Police say an SUV was making a left turn when a sedan was trying to pass it. The sedan driver allegedly sideswiped the SUV and fled the scene. No injuries were reported. The suspect vehicle is described by police as a black, older-model sedan. Police say home security footage shows the vehicle heading westbound on Flos Road Four West toward Crossland Road. Anyone with more information or footage that could help the ongoing investigation is asked to come forward. Tips can be submitted anonymously through Crime Stoppers.
