Police are investigating a Friday morning shooting in the area of Hickling Trail and McCuaig Court in north east Barrie. Barrie Police say they responded to a call of multiple gunshots fired at a home in the area around 5:30 A.M. Upon arrival, officers located a Tesla riddled with gun shots and several rounds littered around the area. No injuries were reported and the incident is believed to isolated, but police have no word on threat to public safety at this time. Police say there is always concern when firearms are involved, but investigators believe the shooting was targeted. Residents can expect to see officers in the neighbourhood for a while yet, as police are still canvassing for video surveillance. There is no word yet from police about suspects.
