Parry Sound resident skips her way to bronze at International Jump Rope Union World Championships

Parry-Sound native Stephanie Weeks has taken home the bronze medal at the International Jump Rope Union World Championships in Japan.

Weeks has been in Japan participating in multiple categories including freestyle, power and speed, and solo single triple enders.

In the qualifiers, Weeks posted a score of 241 coming in third and advancing to the finals with five other athletes.

She placed third again in the finals and was awarded a bronze medal.

This was Weeks, second bronze medal in the event as she took home bronze Colorado at the last world championships in 2023.
