Police say a temporary ‘no-fly zone’ will be in effect over and around Caledon skies during the 2026 RBC Canadian Open. Starting Wednesday between 10 a.m. and 11:59 p.m. each day, the unauthorized operation of drones and other aerial vehicles will be prohibited near the tournament site at 19131 Main Street. Police are warning the public that flying a drone in any restricted area, like Osprey Valley, could lead to fines and other penalties. The Town of Caledon is hosting Canada’s national men’s golf championship and the country’s only stop on the PGA Tour. Officials say the tournament is expected to draw top golfers and large crowds from across the country. Officers note that the temporary ‘no-fly zone’ remains in effect until next Sat., June 14.
