The sound is turned back up to full volume as Boots and Hearts resumes following a brief weather break. Through alerts on the official Boots and Hearts app, people were alerted to evacuate the festival grounds and find shelter until around 5 p.m. Artists headed to their trailers and sets were cancelled or postponed. The Jack Wharf Band is kicking things back off at the Front Porch stage at 5:30 p.m. Following will be Thelma and James, who had their earlier set cancelled but luckily, had a second set already scheduled. Jessie Murph and Sam Barber will make way for Saturday night’s headliners, the Chicks.
