A Barrie man is facing multiple criminal charges, including attempted murder, following a targeted incident in Bradford West Gwillimbury. Thursday evening, South Simcoe Police were called after a person had been intentionally struck by a vehicle in a residential neighbourhood in Bradford. Police located the victim, who was treated for non-life-threatening injuries. It was determined that the incident was targeted and the victim and the driver were known to each other. Soon after, police charged a 42-year-old Barrie man with: The accused was held for a bail hearing and is scheduled to appear in court on August 12. Police say this was an isolated, targeted incident and there is no threat to public safety.
