A Barrie man became an instant millionaire after a quick stop to a convenience store for a snack. Keven Carrier said he heard about OLG’s Instant Millionaire Multiplier ticket from his mother, so after playing hockey one day, he picked up a ticket from the Circle K on Huronia Road in Barrie while grabbing a bag of chips. "When I checked my ticket, I thought I’d won $100,000," he recalled. "I had to call my little brother to verify how many zeros there are in a million.
