For one Shelburne, Ont., woman, a trip to a local fast food restaurant resulted in her getting more than just a meal. Provincial police say they received a call around 2:20 a.m. on June 26 that a woman had been sleeping in the drive-thru of the fast food restaurant for “several minutes.” Dufferin OPP attended the restaurant on Ojibway Road in Shelburne. According to police, they made several attempts to get her attention before successfully waking her up and speaking with her. Once she was awake, police began an impaired driving investigation. The 29-year-old was charged with operation while impaired and operation while impaired with a blood alcohol concentration of 80 plus.
