VANCOUVER - Ample challenges await the B.C. Liberals when they enter the legislature Tuesday for the start of the spring session.

But the government's priorities won't be read out to the elected members like usual, instead, Premier Christy Clark will deliver her agenda on-air.

Clark will sit-down at her former workplace of Vancouver's CKNW radio station this morning to chat about what's in-store.

Among the issues the Liberals must be ready to tackle include the ongoing teachers' job action, the province's faltering justice system and job uncertainty faced by workers in the sawmill town of Burns Lake.

The session resumes just a week before the government must table a new budget and with two MLA seats at stake in upcoming byelections.

Retired political science professor Norman Ruff says Clark is missing an opportunity by avoiding the legislature, and only adding to the appearance that her government is light on policy.
