A 24-year-old woman was arrested for impaired driving after her vehicle allegedly struck a power pole and caused an outage in Brookvale, N.S., last Friday. Emergency crews responded to the reported crash in the 100-200 block of Canada Road around 9 p.m. They found a Mazda 3 that had split a power pole, according to an RCMP news release. Police spoke with the driver and administered a roadside breath test, which the driver allegedly failed. The driver later provided two breath samples registering 150 mg% and 140 mg%.
