Springhill man charged with child sexual abuse and exploitation material offences: N.S. RCMP

Police say 37-year-old man from Springhill, N.S., is facing child sexual abuse and exploitation material (CSAEM) charges.

A social media platform notified the Nova Scotia RCMP’s Provincial Internet Child Exploitation Unit on April 2 about CSAEM being transmitted on its service.

Officers executed a search warrant at a home on Herrett Road in Springhill on April 24.

Police say they seized electronic evidence.

Christopher Klepy has been charged with:

• possessing child sexual abuse and exploitation material
• transmitting child sexual abuse and exploitation material

He was released on conditions and is scheduled to appear in Amherst provincial court on Monday.
