A Martins Point, N.S., man is wanted on a provincewide arrest warrant. Jason Joseph Melanson, 50, is facing charges of break and enter and failure to attend court. Police describe Melanson as five-foot-two, 160 pounds, with black and grey hair and brown eyes. “Police have made several attempts to locate Melanson and are requesting assistance from the public,” reads a news release from the Nova Scotia RCMP. Police are asking anyone with information on Melanson’s whereabouts to call the Lunenberg County District RCMP at 902-275-3583 or Nova Scotia Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
