A man is in hospital after police say he was found in the Halifax Harbour Tuesday afternoon. Halifax Regional Police responded to a report of an injured person in the water near the area of 1919 Upper Water Street in downtown Halifax around 2:25 p.m. Police say the man was taken to hospital with what are believed to be life-threatening injuries. “At this time, the incident is not believed to be suspicious,” said Const. Martin Cromwell, public information officer with the Halifax Regional Police, in an email to CTV Atlantic. The force says the investigation is ongoing.
