Man, 36, arrested after forged vehicle inspection stickers, firearm seized: N.S. RCMP

Nova Scotia RCMP says a 36-year-old man has been arrested after police seized several firearms, drugs, and forged government documents.

Police say they initiated a traffic stop on Kissing Bridge Road in Lunenburg County on Oct. 14 as part of an ongoing drug investigation. The driver was arrested.

In a news release on Monday, police say they executed a search warrant at a home on Back Centre Road where they seized:

• quantities of several drugs
• cash
• items that support drug trafficking charges
• a firearm which was stored incorrectly
• replica firearms
• forged vehicle inspection stickers

He was later released on conditions pending a future court appearance.

The man from Lunenburg County will face charges related to the controlled drugs substance act, firearms, and property crime offences.
