A family in Nova Scotia’s Annapolis Valley has been displaced after a fire in their home Wednesday night. The fire started around 8:30 p.m. at a home on Richard Street in Kentville. It was contained to the basement; however, the home was damaged by smoke and water. No one was injured and the Red Cross is assisting the 11 people who were displaced.
