A 16-year-old is facing several charges after the e-dirtbike he was driving allegedly struck a Fredericton transit bus at a trail crossing on Sunday afternoon. Emergency crews responded to the collision at the Northside trail crossing near McKeen Street around 2:45 p.m., according to a news release from the Fredericton Police Force. Investigators determined the e-dirtbike rider failed to stop at the trail crossing and hit the bus. The teenage driver went to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
