The New Brunswick RCMP is seeking the public’s help identifying a person suspected in an aggravated assault in Moncton this spring. The Codiac Regional RCMP responded to a report of an assault outside a business on Main Street around 2:45 a.m. on May 5. “The victim sustained a broken nose, and the suspect fled the scene prior to police arrival,” reads a news release from the New Brunswick RCMP. Police are releasing surveillance footage photos in hopes someone may recognize the man, despite the quality of the images. He is described as having a slim build, black hair that sits just above the shoulder, and a tattoo on his right shoulder. Police are asking anyone who recognizes the person, or who has information that could further the investigation, to contact the Codiac Regional RCMP at 506-857-2400 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
