Moncton, N.B., man wanted on Canada-wide warrant

A Moncton, N.B., man is wanted on a Canada-wide warrant.

The Saint John Police Force was notified around 3:35 p.m. Wednesday that a warrant had been issued for 38-year-old Joshua Belliveau. He was last seen in the south end of Saint John on Monday.

Belliveau is serving his second federal sentence of two years, 11 months and one day for:

• possession of a prohibited/restricted firearm with ammunition
• possession of a weapon contrary to a prohibition order
• unauthorized possession of a firearm/prohibited or restricted weapon in a motor vehicle
• carrying a concealed weapon
• resisting/obstruction of a peace officer
• dangerous operation conveyance
• unlawfully in dwelling house
• flight from peace officer
• escape or being at large without excuse

Police describe Belliveau as five-foot-10 and 160 pounds, with brown hair, brown eyes and several tattoos – “Be You” on his left hand, “Stay True” on his right hand, “Me Against the World” on the right side of his neck, and “712” or “702” with a crown on the left side of his neck.

Police are warning people not to approach Belliveau and are asking anyone who sees him or has information about his whereabouts to call the Saint John Police Force at 506-648-3333 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
