A man has died and a woman was injured in a single-vehicle collision in Florenceville-Bristol, N.B. The crash happened Friday around 6:30 a.m. on Route 105. According to RCMP, the driver lost control of the vehicle, left the road and struck a tree. Police said the driver, a 40-year-old man from Beechwood, N.B., was rushed to hospital where he died from his injuries. The passenger, a 46-year-old woman from Johnville, N.B., was taken to hospital with what were believed to be non-life-threatening injuries. RCMP said a collision reconstructionist and drone were used in the investigation into the cause of the crash. A member of the coroner’s office also attended the scene.
