A 60-year-old cyclist was hospitalized with serious injuries after an alleged hit-and-run in Fredericton on Wednesday, according to police. Emergency crews responded to the reported collision at the intersection of Sunset Drive and Burpee Street around 3:10 p.m. The female cyclist went to hospital for treatment. “The driver left the scene and was later arrested,” a news release from the Fredericton Police Force reads. “Charges have not been laid.” The investigation is ongoing.
