Three young men and a dog were rescued in Musquash, N.B., after the motor on their boat failed. They became stranded and a thick fog covered the East Branch Reservoir area. Musquash Fire says it received a dispatch call for a water rescue Wednesday at 11:33 p.m. According to a news release from the fire department, they deployed their drone and rescue boat. The young men were able to communicate with rescuers until their cellphone battery died. “The rescue boat was able to reach the stranded boat, and bring everyone safely to the boat launch,” reads the release.
