Woman, 33, dies following single-vehicle crash: N.B. RCMP

A 33-year-old woman has died following a single-vehicle crash near Meadow Brook, N.B., Tuesday morning.

RCMP officers responded to the crash on Route 2 around 2:45 a.m.

A 30-year-old man from Tantramar, N.B., was transported to hospital with what police say are life-threatening injuries.

A second occupant, a 33-year-old woman, also from Tantramar, died at the scene as a result of her injuries.

“Police have determined that the vehicle involved in the crash had been reported as stolen from the Sackville, N.B., region on April 14,” read a news release from RCMP.

Members of the Dieppe Fire Department, Ambulance New Brunswick, an RCMP Collision Reconstructionist and an RCMP Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems (drone) operator also attended the scene.

A member of New Brunswick’s coroner’s office is assisting with the ongoing investigation.
