How much gas prices went up overnight in the Maritimes

The price of gas increased slightly overnight in Nova Scotia and New Brunswick while prices did not change on Prince Edward Island.

Nova Scotia

The price of regular self-serve gasoline in the Halifax area increased by 1.4 cents. The minimum price is now 175.8 cents per litre.

The price of diesel decreased by 4.5 cents to a new minimum price of 235.8 cents per litre.

In Cape Breton, the new minimum price of regular self-serve gasoline is 177.7 cents per litre while the minimum price of diesel is now 237.7 cents per litre.

Prince Edward Island

The price of regular self-serve gasoline on P.E.I. did not change. The minimum price is still 186.6 cents per litre.

The price of diesel decreased overnight following a Tuesday increase.

Prices decreased by 6.9 cents to a new minimum price of 242.5 cents per litre.

New Brunswick

The price of regular self-serve gasoline increased overnight in New Brunswick following a decrease on Wednesday.

Gas prices increased by 0.7 cents per litre to a new maximum price of 178.2 cents per litre.

The price of diesel decreased by 1.3 cents. The new maximum price is 244.1 cents per litre.
