How much gas prices went up overnight in the Maritimes

Gas and diesel prices increased overnight for Nova Scotia and New Brunswick.

Maritime drivers will be paying more at the pumps this morning, as gas increased overnight for Nova Scotia and New Brunswick.

Nova Scotia

The price of regular self-serve gasoline increased by 7.8 cents in the Halifax area. The new minimum price is 176.7 cents per litre

The price of diesel also increased, going up by 9.5 cents to a minimum price of 194.9 cents per litre.

The minimum price of regular self-serve gasoline in Cape Breton is up 9.8 cents, now at a minimum of 178.7 cents per litre. The minimum price of diesel is now 196.9 cents per litre

New Brunswick

In New Brunswick, gas increased by 3.9 cents with the new maximum price at 179.9 cents per litre.

Diesel increased by 6.6 cents, with a maximum price now at 206.4 cents per litre.
