The price of gas and diesel decreased overnight across the Maritimes. All three provinces made adjustments Saturday “due to significant shifts in the market prices.” Nova Scotia The price of regular self-serve gasoline in the Halifax area decreased by 6.7 cents. The minimum price is now 178.7 cents per litre. The price of diesel decreased by 14.5 cents to a new minimum price of 223.1 cents per litre. In Cape Breton, the new minimum price of regular self-serve gasoline is 180.6 cents per litre while the minimum price of diesel is now 225.0 cents per litre. Prince Edward Island The price of regular self-serve gasoline on P.E.I. decreased by 4.6 cents. The minimum price is now 193.7 cents per litre. The price of diesel decreased by 5.7 cents. The minimum price is now 250.6 cents per litre. New Brunswick The price of regular self-serve gasoline in New Brunswick decreased by 5.1 cents per litre to a new maximum price of 184.4 cents per litre. The price of diesel decreased by 7.8 cents. The maximum price is now 240.4 cents per litre.
